Creating new schools that cultivate human intelligence
We create schools that nurture confident, creative young adults, ready to thrive in a complex world.
Our purpose is to develop new schools around the world that are wildly ambitious for pupils, helping children to build strong intellectual foundations that will enable them to study and live across cultures, as thinkers, artists, entrepreneurs and leaders of the next century.
Finding the best in East and West
Pupils are prepared to flourish in a world where they will study, work and live across different cultural spheres. Strong foundations in literacy through effective language teaching is central to achieving this aim. Drawing on our expertise leading and growing bilingual schools, our teaching methods empower pupils to find their voice, in and out of the classroom.
However, this is emphatically not an excuse for yet another bland, generic, globalised ‘international school’. Instead, we place a strong emphasis on teaching the historical and cultural heritage of pupils’ city and nation.

Think small
Intentionally smaller schools allow for every child to be known as an individual, with relationships of trust between pupils, parents and teachers.
In a volatile world, where ‘school’ isn’t always a building, emphasising flashy facilities seems tastelessly out-of-date. We believe that what marks out a genuinely premium education is the quality of human relationships. Our schools’ personal development programmes are designed to give children space and time to enjoy childhood while building confidence for the next stage of education.

What's past is prologue...
So said William Shakespeare. While tradition is vital, the schools of the future need not be bound to the past.
What makes Ashvale’s philosophy of new school development unique is our truly global viewpoint; we don’t clone one school or one curriculum and expect it to land somewhere else:
Taking ideas from school systems around the world – British, American, Canadian, French, Indian, Singaporean and more. Adding deep research about what works in education. Then thoughtfully adapting the approach around the context, culture and values of the community we are serving.
